Each spring the earth awakens from its winter slumber as the days grow warmer and longer. During this time together we will renew our minds and hearts in the simple yet profound practice of sitting and walking meditation. Gradually this practice will lead us to intimacy with all of life as we touch the present moment with a kind and open heart.

With a warm community of participants, teacher guidance and a supportive practice schedule, this retreat will help you access the liberating power of awareness right where you are. It will include periods of sitting and walking meditation, instructions, dharma talks, q&a and optional group or private meetings with the teacher.

This retreat is suitable for all levels of experience from beginner to long term practitioner. The cost is $445 for three nights and $645 for the five night option. Please note that Bethany Hills has significantly raised their prices for 2023 (as have many retreat centers) but we are keeping the prices as low as we can. We will also continue to make reduced fee scholarships available for all who need financial assistance. We appreciate donations to our scholarship fund to allow those who need to pay less to attend as we operate on slim margins to keep costs down. For scholarships, email onedharmaretreat@gmail.com with questions. There will be a separate opportunity at retreat’s end to make a dana offering (donation) to the teacher.

Lisa Ernst is a fully authorized meditation teacher in the Thai Forest/Spirit Rock lineage of Ajahn Chah, Jack Kornfield and Trudy Goodman. She teachers internationally and leads workshops and retreats nationally.

This retreat is full but cancellations always happen closer to the retreat. We encourage you to add your name to the waitlist by emailing  onedharmaretreat@gmail.com.

Cancellation Refund Policy: More than four weeks from retreat start date – $50 cancellation fee; No refunds are available for cancellations less than four weeks from retreat start date.
